Pörner Vienna
Since its founding in 1972, Pörner has grown into a leading engineering company with steadily increasing expertise and capabilities. Today, around 150 employees work at the Vienna headquarters. They provide all disciplines required for a complete project execution in plant engineering.
Core competencies
From our headquarters in Vienna, the Pörner Group handles a wide range of projects in the refinery, chemical, petrochemical, energy, environmental technology, and industrial production sectors. Pörner Vienna offers all engineering services for national and international turnkey plant construction, including process development, basic and detail engineering, procurement, construction supervision, and commissioning.
The headquarters is the center of technological expertise for the Biturox® process, which is used to produce high-quality bitumen, as well as for the water treatment plant construction of our Pörner Water experts. The first Biturox® plant was built in Wörth, Germany, in 1978. Pörner Vienna has operated its own Biturox® research laboratory in Schwechat, near Vienna, for around 20 years. With over 60 licensed Biturox® plants worldwide, Pörner is the global market leader in bitumen oxidation technology

Pörner Kundl
Since 1992, the Pörner Kundl team has been providing its expertise in plant engineering , and industrial building services with focus on pharmaceutical process plants and clean room systems.
Core Competence
Pörner Kundl offers all services necessary for the design and construction of complete pharmaceutical plants from a single source. From validation and qualification of pharmaceutical process plants, clean rooms, HVAC and computer systems through to the planning of all electrical and instrumentation systems in all stages of engineering, i.e. from basic engineering, specification, coordination of interfaces with other disciplines, tendering, procurement through to commissioning and final documentation.

Technology Center for Formaldehyde and Bio-Silicates
Pörner Grimma
The Pörner location in Grimma was established in 1992. Today, it offers all engineering services for complete plant engineering, as well as its technological developments, both nationally and internationally. Since 2003, the Grimma location has served as the Pörner Group's technology center for formaldehyde and its derivatives.
Core Competence
In collaboration with renowned European licensors and know-how partners, Pörner Grimma provides all services as EPC contractor for the engineering and construction of plants of the formalin product family (UFC, paraformaldehyde, hexamine, UF, MUF, MF, PF resins, novolak and bakelites, acetaldehydes, pentaerythritol, polyester and alkyd resins).
As a competence center for Pörner bio-silicate technology, Pörner Grimma operates a modern demonstration plant in Freiberg, Germany. Pörner Grimma primarily developed the patented process for converting rice hulls into high-tech silicates.

As an innovative technology and service provider, Pörner Romania offers a complete range of engineering services for planning, constructing, and commissioning plants in the refinery, gas, petrochemical, energy, and environmental technology sectors.
The location's particular strengths include designing tanks and tank farms with 3D laser scanning; modernizing, expanding, and revitalizing existing plants; providing comprehensive regulatory engineering, including applications for EU funding; offering in-depth knowledge of national regulations and local supply chains; and managing on-site process engineering projects.

Poerner Kyiv LLC (formerly Gazintek) has been a wholly owned subsidiary of the Pörner Group since 2006. The company focuses on providing state-of-the-art detail engineering for plants in the oil and gas sector.
Core competence
In addition to the traditional design of pump and compressor stations, gas pressure reduction and metering stations, pig launch and reception stations, and pipelines, the engineers at Pörner Kyiv also have extensive experience in the design of liquefied gas plants, including liquefied gas transport by carriers and the design of crude oil refineries.
The extended range of services includes 3D modeling and animation, static verification, electrical design, and precise stress analysis.
